About the role

  • Resource Technician supporting wind energy operations across multiple sites and projects in Canada. Diagnosing and maintaining wind turbines while ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines alongside your team.
  • Travel to different sites, work with diverse teams and assignments, including managing travel logistics and cost coding.
  • Perform safety inspections and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues while demonstrating strong self-management.
  • Work on construction and installation projects, overseeing the full lifecycle of turbines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months with a Wind Energy Technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to best practices.
  • Ability to work well in teams and thrive in collaborative environments.
  • Good physical fitness, comfortable working in varied conditions and at heights.
  • Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in French and English.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in Canada without current or future sponsorship.
