About the role
- Senior Product Designer at Affirm shaping end-to-end experiences in product design and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design for key initiatives within a product area—from discovery through delivery and iteration—driving meaningful customer and business outcomes.
- Own complex flows and ambiguous problem spaces, defining clear problem statements, success metrics, and design direction.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and data to make informed trade-offs and deliver intuitive, high-quality experiences.
- Balance speed and quality, making pragmatic decisions while contributing to a cohesive product experience.
- Use research, data, and experimentation to inform decisions and continuously improve outcomes.
- Contribute to design systems and patterns, strengthening consistency and scalability across your area.
- Facilitate alignment and decision-making, ensuring teams move forward with clarity.
- Support and mentor other designers, helping raise the quality of work across the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product design experience or equivalent practical experience
- Proficiency with modern design and collaboration tools (Figma, G Suite, Notion, etc.)
