Responsibilities

Own a whole product area end-to-end, from framing the problem through shipping and monitoring customer learnings
Design AI-first flows that keep customers in control
Simplify complex situations into understandable, trustworthy experiences
Test bold ideas with real customers, measure results, and adapt plans
Use AI to rapidly create testable solutions and put them in front of customers
Raise design standards through critique, clear thinking, and decision-making
Partner with a product lead and engineering lead from idea to launch
Design migration and governance experiences for Microsoft 365

6+ years designing complex software for businesses, with shipped work owned from the first question to the last detail
Systems thinking: designing the whole journey, not one screen at a time
Judgment to make difficult-to-reverse design decisions
Weekly habit of talking to real customers and adapting direction based on their behavior
Ability to defend design rationale to designers, engineers, and executives
Fluency using AI in the workflow
Ability to refine and polish work in the real product and push changes to production
Comfort working without a clear brief
Experience designing for IT, security, data, or expert-user audiences is a bonus
