About the role

Intermediate Applied Machine Learning Engineer designing, building, and deploying production-grade machine learning systems. Focused on translating ambiguous problems into reliable, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy production-grade machine learning systems capable of handling complex, real-world data streams.
Translate ambiguous problems into reliable, scalable solutions while contributing to technical decisions across the ML stack.
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, able to convert product requirements into concrete, end-to-end technical solutions with minimal supervision.

Approximately 4 years of experience in applied machine learning, data engineering, or ML backend systems
Strong proficiency in Python and experience deploying systems to production (beyond research or prototyping)
Experience in at least one of the following: Natural Language Processing (NLP), Information Extraction, Search or Retrieval systems, or Data pipeline development
Demonstrated ability to: work autonomously and own technical solutions; navigate ambiguous problems and deliver tangible results
Familiarity with: backend systems and API design; cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams
