About the role
- Tech Lead for interoperability and integration at Akinox. Design solutions for modern digital healthcare systems and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the design and implementation of solutions
- Develop new features in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain a high level of quality through best practices
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize application performance
- Collaborate with the CPTO on technical decision-making
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of modern healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, IHE, SHC, REST, SOAP, etc.)
- Understanding of the technical challenges related to enterprise architecture in healthcare
- Good knowledge of health information systems used in Canada
- Ability to explain concepts and demonstrate the benefits of proposed approaches
- Strong collaborator who enjoys working with multidisciplinary teams on solution design
- Analytical mindset and ability to synthesize information
