About the role

  • Senior Strategic Program Analyst overseeing project management and operational planning for the Ministry of Education and Childcare. Collaborating with stakeholders to align policy and operational changes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading the project management and operational planning for the branch.
  • Develop and lead projects, support communications, and coordinate and lead planning and reporting functions.
  • Determine if policy and practices align with government direction.
  • Develop plans and anticipate contingencies and implications.
  • Lead operational planning for SRO and all tracking and reporting functions.

Requirements

  • University graduation in a related field like Business, Arts, Project Management plus four years of progressive experience is required; or equivalent as described below.
  • Experience with project management and operational/strategic planning.
  • Project Management Professional Certificate.
  • Experience with application systems, problem management, change management and production control practices, process, and procedures.
  • Ability to handle pressure and work on multiple projects with demanding timelines.
