About the role
- SAS Developer optimizing system performance and reliability in a complex technical environment. Collaborating with Agile teams to analyze requirements and ensure stability of production operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain programs using SAS, SQL, and Shell scripts;
- Work in a SAS environment (SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, etc.);
- Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver effective solutions;
- Manage and schedule automated workflows using Control-M;
- Oversee data transfers between servers (MFT);
- Collaborate within Agile teams using tools such as Jira and Confluence;
- Maintain and manage code using GitHub;
- Support production activities and ensure system stability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role;
- Strong expertise in SAS programming, SQL, and Shell scripting;
- Experience with SAS environments (SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide), Control-M or equivalent job-scheduling tools, managed file transfer (MFT) solutions, and version control systems (GitHub);
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure;
- Excellent adaptability and a strong capacity for learning;
- Good communication and teamwork skills with demonstrated leadership abilities.
