About the role
- Auto Claims Advisor investigating coverage, liability, and complex automobile claims for Allstate Canada. Settling claims and coordinating with customers, repair providers, insurers, and law enforcement.
Responsibilities
- Review insurance policies and coverages
- Investigate complex automobile claims, including impaired, unlisted operator, or non-drivable claims
- Determine coverage and liability
- Settle claims according to organizational policies and practices
- Collaborate with customers, service suppliers such as towing companies and repair shops, other insurance companies, and law enforcement
Requirements
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- 3–5 years of customer service experience
- Previous auto adjuster experience preferred
- Knowledge of understanding and interpreting policies
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy
- CIP enrollment or willingness to enroll is a bonus qualification
- Fluency in other languages is a strong asset
