About the role

  • Technician providing remote and on-site technical support for clients in Quebec City area. Collaborating with internal staff and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to clients and internal staff to resolve issues
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure an exceptional experience
  • Demonstrate excellent self-management skills and follow up on tasks
  • Produce clear, professional technical documentation for clients and internal staff
  • Handle remote and on-site support tickets for workstations, printers, and end-user support
  • Perform break/fix repairs
  • Provide on-site support as required
  • Deploy RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management)
  • Prepare workstations in the workshop
  • Manage tickets independently and follow up on additional requests
  • Deliver exemplary documentation and communication
  • Take on escalations from lower support levels
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of duty to ensure issues are resolved and clients are fully satisfied
  • Perform post-resolution follow-ups with users and team members as needed
  • Participate in team support outside regular business hours

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science or college diploma in Computer Systems Technology, with a minimum of one (1) year of field experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
  • Knowledge of implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the following: VPNs, routers, firewalls, switches, wireless networks, Microsoft servers, SAN, MS Exchange, Terminal Server services, Active Directory, virtualization, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and data backup
  • Pride in workmanship, earning respect through actions, exceeding expectations, and a desire for continuous learning
