About the role
- Machine Learning Project Manager at Amii leading innovative projects from concept to delivery. Overseeing planning and execution of machine learning initiatives with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria for machine learning projects
- Take responsibility for end-to-end project deliverables and outcomes while managing and exceeding client expectations
- Develop a thorough understanding of client needs and work to coordinate internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of client engagements
- Manage all project and client engagement aspects, such as dates, budgets, performance indicators, progress reports, contract agreements, and invoicing
- Facilitate communication and maintain strong relationships with all project stakeholders and team members
- Capture project outputs, track project deliverables, glean insights/best practices/lessons learned and incorporate feedback to continuously improve client engagement
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in machine learning and identify opportunities for their application within client organization
- Inspire and motivate cross-functional teams using excellent leadership and team management skills
- Effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
- Post Secondary Degree in Science, Engineering, Business or related field
- PMP and/or PMI-ACP certification
- 3 - 5+ years experience in industry managing projects in a technology focused environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities effectively
- Intermediate understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques across various domains, including their strengths and limitations
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. Asana, Miro)
