About the role

Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and documentation of nuclear power plant and other industrial site electrical systems
- Perform basic electrical calculations under supervision
- Apply Electrical Safety Codes, Building Codes, and standards
- Assist with preparation of technical specifications and schedules
- Support direction of Designers and coordinate with engineering disciplines
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Support all activities for the Design Integration team
- Work under the guidance of licensed engineers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Eligibility for eventual licensing with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
- 2–4 years of relevant junior level mentored engineering experience in electrical engineering design
- Skills in complementary areas of nuclear new build projects preferred
- Proficiency or working knowledge of codes, standards, and industry best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Good organizational and time‑management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
