About the role
- Environmental Project Manager at AtkinsRéalis, working on environmental liability and site assessments. Overseeing sampling programs and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Determine the need and scope for sampling programs
- Develop environmental sampling protocols
- Ensure site assessments are completed properly
- Prepare site assessment report(s) to meet regulatory and other requirements
- Communicate results of site assessment to stakeholders
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree from a program with relevant subject matter
- Eligibility to be licensed as a P.Eng or P.Geo in Ontario is considered an asset but not mandatory
- Minimum of 8 years of environmental consulting experience
- 2+ years of progressive experience in project planning, coordinating and project management
- Experience with Ontario Regulation 153/04 (as amended)
- Experience with Ontario Regulation 406/19 is considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-motivated, high energy, strong organizational skills
