About the role
- Senior Environmental Project Manager with extensive experience in environmental consulting. Responsible for site assessments, project management, and mentorship within a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
- Determine the need and scope for sampling programs
- Develop environmental sampling protocols
- Ensure site assessments are completed properly
- Prepare site assessment report(s) to meet regulatory requirements
- Communicate results of site assessment to stakeholders
- Oversee the preparation and senior review of technical deliverables
- Mentor staff and provide senior technical direction to project teams
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree from a program with relevant subject matter
- Fully licensed (and in good standing) as a P.Eng or P.Geo in the province of Ontario
- Minimum of 15 years of environmental consulting experience
- 6+ years of progressive experience encompassing project planning, coordinating and project management
- Strong communication skills
- Self-motivated and high energy
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time and multiple projects appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Capable of understanding and appropriately applying prescribed safety and technical protocols
