Senior Technical Engineer needed for nuclear engineering contract in Pickering, ON. Requires 6 - 8 years experience and ECC systems knowledge.
About the role
- Ingénieur(e) en mécanique du bâtiment concevant des systèmes (plomberie, chauffage, ventilation). Coordination des projets dans le cadre du développement des trains à grande vitesse au Canada.
Responsibilities
- Design and assist in the design of building mechanical systems (plumbing, heating, cooling, ventilation, controls)
- Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and technical reports
- Perform design calculations and prepare cost estimates for projects
- Conduct construction coordination and site supervision
- Coordinate the work of the multidisciplinary design team
- Coordinate all project activities (technical, contractual, and financial)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Licensed member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant building mechanical engineering experience within a consulting engineering firm
- Relevant experience in project coordination
- Able to communicate effectively in French (spoken and written)
