About the role

Engineering Manager leading civil and structural design for major nuclear projects in Canada. Managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead the civil and structural design process from concept through detailed design
Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of civil and structural engineering professionals
Plan and execute work to meet quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements
Coordinate and oversee civil and structural engineering activities for nuclear power plant fundamental design
Ensure compliance with engineering, quality assurance, contractual, and regulatory requirements
Support proposal development, resource forecasting, and risk mitigation to maintain safety, quality, and delivery performance

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Professional Engineering Designation an asset
Ability to apply advanced civil/mechanical engineering expertise within large‑scale EPC and nuclear environments
Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
Aptitude for interfacing with regulatory authorities
Ability to work within complex regulatory frameworks, including nuclear, CSA, and NBCC codes and standards
Proficiency in managing engineering delivery across refurbishment and new‑build projects
