About the role

  • Engineering Manager leading civil and structural design for major nuclear projects in Canada. Managing multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance and successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the civil and structural design process from concept through detailed design
  • Manage and develop a multidisciplinary team of civil and structural engineering professionals
  • Plan and execute work to meet quality, cost, schedule, and technical requirements
  • Coordinate and oversee civil and structural engineering activities for nuclear power plant fundamental design
  • Ensure compliance with engineering, quality assurance, contractual, and regulatory requirements
  • Support proposal development, resource forecasting, and risk mitigation to maintain safety, quality, and delivery performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering Designation an asset
  • Ability to apply advanced civil/mechanical engineering expertise within large‑scale EPC and nuclear environments
  • Proficiency in leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Aptitude for interfacing with regulatory authorities
  • Ability to work within complex regulatory frameworks, including nuclear, CSA, and NBCC codes and standards
  • Proficiency in managing engineering delivery across refurbishment and new‑build projects
