Responsibilities
- Develop scope of activities and budgets for contaminated sites investigation or remediation projects
- Coordinate and manage environmental projects by setting priorities and assessing risks
- Apply a robust understanding of BC environmental regulations
- Supervise subcontractors and subconsultants during project execution
- Prepare technical reports and proposals
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in contaminated site investigation, environmental assessment, and remediation
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
- Professional designation in British Columbia (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., AScT, P.Chem)
- Demonstrated experience managing environmental scopes of work, including budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory approvals
- Technical expertise in mining-sector environmental work is an asset
- In-depth knowledge of municipal, provincial and federal environmental standards and regulations
