About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop scope of activities and budgets for contaminated sites investigation or remediation projects
  • Coordinate and manage environmental projects by setting priorities and assessing risks
  • Apply a robust understanding of BC environmental regulations
  • Supervise subcontractors and subconsultants during project execution
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in contaminated site investigation, environmental assessment, and remediation
  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
  • Professional designation in British Columbia (e.g., P.Eng., P.Geo., P.Ag., AScT, P.Chem)
  • Demonstrated experience managing environmental scopes of work, including budgeting, scheduling, and regulatory approvals
  • Technical expertise in mining-sector environmental work is an asset
  • In-depth knowledge of municipal, provincial and federal environmental standards and regulations
