Responsibilities
Lead the development of the overall project planning and scheduling strategy, including schedule structure, logic, phasing, milestones, and cross-discipline integration
Integrate schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities
Apply Cost and Change Control processes
Lead resource and budget loading and ensure Primavera data is extracted and shared with cost control
Align schedule, cost, progress measurement, and Earned Value Management systems
Issue schedules for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor and control schedule performance, identify variances, analyze earned value impacts, and report critical schedule issues
Lead change control management and progress measurement throughout the project lifecycle
Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior and intermediate planners
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including tools, templates, lessons learned, and best practices
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is required
Degree in Engineering is preferred
10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling
Experience in engineering and construction project environments is a strong asset
Strong expertise in critical path analysis, progress measurement, and Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience in project planning, analysis, and reporting
Strong knowledge of general project controls policies and procedures
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6
Strong knowledge of integrated project controls systems and processes
Ability to work effectively and confidently with clients, executive stakeholders, and project leadership teams
Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
