About the role
- Maintenance Planner scheduling repairs and managing maintenance systems for Tenaris, a global tubular-products manufacturer. Coordinating mill maintenance contracts, safety compliance, reports, and external services in Camrose.
Responsibilities
- Carry out maintenance planning and management control activities
- Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making across different areas
- Plan regular and annual scheduled repairs in accordance with production plans and maintenance strategies
- Ensure application of health, safety and environment standards and practices
- Comply with HSE procedures, report incidents or observations, perform inspections, and participate in investigations
- Implement preventive and corrective actions
- Keep risk analysis and environmental aspect assessments updated
- Analyze and control technical specifications and requirements for maintenance contracts
- Coordinate with external services to fulfill internal user requirements
- Follow up scheduled maintenance activities
- Manage and update the maintenance information system and maintain area records
- Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, management standards, laws, and regulations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, trades work, or hands-on engineering technician work is an asset
- 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Post-secondary education in Mechanical Trade (433a), Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
- Familiarity with manufacturing-environment safety procedures
- Previous experience with SAP or another CMMS system is an asset
- Flexibility to work 8-hour days based on business needs
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
- Ability to work in a steel manufacturing mill
