About the role

  • Maintenance Planner scheduling repairs and managing maintenance systems for Tenaris, a global tubular-products manufacturer. Coordinating mill maintenance contracts, safety compliance, reports, and external services in Camrose.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance planning and management control activities
  • Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making across different areas
  • Plan regular and annual scheduled repairs in accordance with production plans and maintenance strategies
  • Ensure application of health, safety and environment standards and practices
  • Comply with HSE procedures, report incidents or observations, perform inspections, and participate in investigations
  • Implement preventive and corrective actions
  • Keep risk analysis and environmental aspect assessments updated
  • Analyze and control technical specifications and requirements for maintenance contracts
  • Coordinate with external services to fulfill internal user requirements
  • Follow up scheduled maintenance activities
  • Manage and update the maintenance information system and maintain area records
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, management standards, laws, and regulations

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance, trades work, or hands-on engineering technician work is an asset
  • 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Post-secondary education in Mechanical Trade (433a), Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics
  • Familiarity with manufacturing-environment safety procedures
  • Previous experience with SAP or another CMMS system is an asset
  • Flexibility to work 8-hour days based on business needs
  • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
  • Ability to work in a steel manufacturing mill
