About the role

  • Scrum Master joining Autodesk's Interactive Graphics team, focusing on agile practices across engineering projects. Leading teams to enhance workflow and project delivery in media and entertainment.

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple teams in adopting agile techniques to align team capacity with their commitments
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to assess scope and set priorities to successfully deliver features
  • Facilitate meetings (e.g., daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning, and sprint retrospectives), adapting processes as needed to maximize each team's success
  • Guide refinement and management of the product backlog to consistently deliver business value
  • Foster a safe, collaborative environment with an emphasis on open discussion and problem-solving
  • Ensure meeting artifacts are produced and distributed to communicate progress to stakeholders
  • Lead or participate in improvement initiatives to close gaps between Scrum teams and the broader organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in a similar role on large-scale software development projects
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA) for quantitative and qualitative decision-making
  • Ability to manage expectations and deliver projects with distributed teams
  • Ability to coach and advocate at multiple levels (i.e., team members, Product Owners, management, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Agile theory and the application of Agile practices
  • Certifications such as CSM, PSM, PMP, Prosci, SAFe (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Bilingual (French/English) (preferred)
  • Knowledge of DevOps concepts, tools, and best practices (e.g., Jenkins, CI/CD) (preferred)
  • Knowledge of visual effects (VFX) in film, TV, or AAA games (preferred)
