Responsibilities
- Support multiple teams in adopting agile techniques to align team capacity with their commitments
- Coordinate with stakeholders to assess scope and set priorities to successfully deliver features
- Facilitate meetings (e.g., daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning, and sprint retrospectives), adapting processes as needed to maximize each team's success
- Guide refinement and management of the product backlog to consistently deliver business value
- Foster a safe, collaborative environment with an emphasis on open discussion and problem-solving
- Ensure meeting artifacts are produced and distributed to communicate progress to stakeholders
- Lead or participate in improvement initiatives to close gaps between Scrum teams and the broader organization.
Requirements
- 8+ years in a similar role on large-scale software development projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA) for quantitative and qualitative decision-making
- Ability to manage expectations and deliver projects with distributed teams
- Ability to coach and advocate at multiple levels (i.e., team members, Product Owners, management, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Agile theory and the application of Agile practices
- Certifications such as CSM, PSM, PMP, Prosci, SAFe (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Bilingual (French/English) (preferred)
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts, tools, and best practices (e.g., Jenkins, CI/CD) (preferred)
- Knowledge of visual effects (VFX) in film, TV, or AAA games (preferred)
