About the role

  • Scrum Master facilitating agile teams focused on digital products at CAA-Québec. Guide collaboration, remove obstacles, and improve agile practices in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a facilitator so team members can work smoothly and effectively at a sustainable pace, continuously optimizing their way of working
  • Leads team ceremonies (daily stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, etc.) to maximize their value and impact on overall performance
  • Supports team members in assigning and tracking tasks through to completion, reinforcing accountability and autonomy
  • Contributes to backlog creation and ensures their consistency and continuous updating
  • Ensures teams focus on deliverables that are a priority for the business
  • Coaches teams in estimation, planning, and managing commitments, promoting increased predictability
  • Promotes values such as trust and respect and encourages issues to be raised openly and resolved collaboratively
  • Facilitates the removal of impediments, including those with cross-functional or organizational scope
  • Coordinates dependencies with other teams and helps align initiatives, particularly in multi-team or program contexts
  • Plays an active role in the continuous improvement of agile practices at both team and organizational levels
  • Trains and supports team members and certain stakeholders in adopting and evolving agile practices
  • Ensures visibility of progress and performance to stakeholders by providing and interpreting relevant flow metrics and indicators to support decision-making
  • Contributes, through your expertise, to the evolution of product management and delivery practices within the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in comparable roles (Scrum Master, project management, agile delivery, etc.)
  • Strong experience with various agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of agile performance metrics (burndown, velocity, lead time, cycle time, etc.)
  • Comfortable with agile and product management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Kanban boards)
  • Scrum Master, SAFe, or Kanban certification (an asset)
  • Ability to deliver tangible results, prioritize effectively, and keep focus on value
  • Mobilizing leadership, proactivity, and ability to positively influence teams
  • Skill in supporting, coaching, and growing teams toward greater autonomy and maturity
  • Collaborative mindset, sense of commitment, and ease working in a team
  • Good judgment, analytical ability, and skill in getting to the essentials
  • Autonomy and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Advanced French and working knowledge of English
