About the role

  • Scrum Master facilitating Agile teams delivering healthcare software solutions for Harris Computer. Improving backlogs, testing, stakeholder communication, and data-driven delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Scrum Master for up to two Agile teams
  • Ensure adherence to Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies
  • Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Remove team impediments and obstacles
  • Coach team members on Agile methodologies and best practices
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to prioritize and refine product backlogs
  • Monitor team performance metrics and sprint progress
  • Develop a strong understanding of software solutions and workflows
  • Assist the Product Owner and Business Analyst with user story writing and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate requirements clarification between the Product Owner’s vision and the agile team’s technical implementation
  • Participate in extra testing activities such as break-a-thons
  • Translate completed features and bugs into user-centric release notes
  • Monitor and track feedback and issues related to User Acceptance Testing and escalate when needed

Requirements

  • 3 years as a Scrum Master in an agile environment, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, principles, and practices, with ability to tailor approaches to project needs
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework™ (SAFe) is an advantage
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and drive data-driven decision-making
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry standards, regulations, HL7 interfaces, and best practices in Canada or the United States
  • Experience with software quality testing and quality processes
  • Experience as a clinical informaticist or as part of a healthcare system’s application support team
  • Languages spoken and/or written: French, English, Spanish
