Responsibilities
Lead Scrum ceremonies and facilitate planning, prioritization, and implementation activities
Support the development and implementation of annual Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and quarterly deployment plans
Ensure alignment between business priorities and team commitments
Manage dependencies, remove obstacles, and enable teams to achieve their objectives within agreed timelines
Manage deployment plans and track progress against milestones
Coordinate activities across teams and provide clear status reports
Identify, track, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints
Facilitate issue resolution through collaboration, escalation, and mitigation plans
Build relationships with senior executive stakeholders, vendors, and technology and business teams
Manage expectations, foster alignment, and ensure transparency regarding progress, risks, decisions, and priorities
Drive continuous improvement in team effectiveness, deployment methods, and operational processes
Promote collaboration, transparency, and knowledge sharing
Clarify team objectives and interdependencies and empower teams to achieve expected outcomes
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce, or Business Administration
At least 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager
At least 2 years of experience working on one or more digital transformation or digitization projects
In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
Knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles and the Scrum and Kanban frameworks
Scrum Master or project management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, DASSM) is an asset
Experience in finance, insurance, or products and services is an asset
Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Planview applications is an asset
Project management experience is an asset
Fluency in both of Canada’s official languages (English and French) is an asset
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application; Canadian citizens and permanent residents preferred
Must meet government security requirements
