About the role

  • Scrum Master enabling agile delivery for EDC, Canada’s export credit agency. Facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing delivery risks, and coaching high-performing digital technology teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead scrum ceremonies and facilitate planning, prioritization, and execution activities
  • Support development and delivery of annual OKRs and quarterly delivery plans
  • Align business priorities with team commitments
  • Manage dependencies and remove impediments
  • Enable teams to deliver against agreed objectives and timelines
  • Maintain delivery plans and monitor progress against milestones
  • Coordinate cross-team activities
  • Provide status reporting on business and technology outcomes
  • Identify, track, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints
  • Facilitate resolution through collaboration, escalation, and mitigation planning
  • Build relationships with business, technology, vendor, and executive stakeholders
  • Manage expectations and facilitate alignment
  • Ensure visibility into delivery progress, risks, decisions, and priorities
  • Identify opportunities to improve team effectiveness, delivery practices, and operational processes
  • Foster collaboration, transparency, and knowledge sharing
  • Clarify team objectives and interdependencies
  • Empower teams to own delivery outcomes
  • Help teams adopt delivery best practices, facilitate agile events, remove impediments, coach team members, and build high-performing teams

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce or Business Administration
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a digital journey or digitalization project(s)
  • Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile principles
  • Advanced knowledge of DevOps
  • Advanced knowledge of Scrum and Kanban Frameworks
  • Ability to work legally in Canada at the time of application (Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents preferred)
  • Must meet requisite government security screening requirements
