About the role
- Project Manager/Scrum Master managing internal IT projects for fusionSpan, a Salesforce and CRM implementation partner. Planning sprints, coordinating resources, tracking budgets, and reporting project performance to management.
Responsibilities
- Manage all internal IT projects from planning through execution
- Serve as Scrum Master for internal project teams
- Provide Scrum and project reports to upper management
- Manage stakeholders
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Create short- and long-term plans, set milestone targets, adhere to deadlines, and allocate resources
- Delegate project tasks to appropriate employees
- Identify and manage risks and liabilities across multiple projects
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Track project performance and successful completion of goals
- Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
- Plan sprints and tasks in Jira
- Use project management tools including Jira and Asana
Requirements
- 2–4 years of IT project management experience with a consulting or professional services firm
- Strong interpersonal skills to organize, motivate, and communicate with teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with product and/or software development processes
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
- Understanding of resource management, including human, financial, and other asset-based resources
- Strong preference for familiarity with Agile methodology
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
- Experience with project tools such as Asana
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Experience with IT projects preferred
- Experience in entrepreneurial and startup environments preferred
- Ability to work autonomously and adapt to an evolving work structure
- Willingness to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST
- Comfortable using macOS as a primary workstation or willing to learn it quickly
- Comfortable with a mandatory camera-on policy for internal and client meetings
