About the role

  • Bilingual Cloud Resiliency Architect supporting clients through technical engagements aimed at improving cloud environment reliability and recoverability. Working with Microsoft Azure and disaster recovery strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the resilience posture of client environments, both technically and operationally.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of disaster recovery (DR) plans, business continuity (BC) strategies, and Major Incident Response Plans (MIRP/PRIM).
  • Conduct in-depth technical analyses of cloud infrastructure, application dependencies, observability configurations, and failover capabilities.
  • Review and enhance Major Incident Response Plans (MIRP/PRIM), including escalation protocols, incident communication plans, recovery sequences/runbooks, and impact mitigation strategies.
  • Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and single points of failure within workloads and operational processes.
  • Recommend improvements aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework, SRE principles, and ITIL practices.
  • Collaborate with client teams to understand RTO/RPO objectives, recovery workflows, and coordination models for major incidents.
  • Produce professional client-facing documentation summarizing technical findings and process maturity recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in the following areas
  • Strong expertise in designing high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions in Microsoft Azure.
  • Solid understanding of Azure architecture, including infrastructure, availability zones, backup/restore services, and monitoring solutions.
  • Familiarity with native cloud resilience patterns and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methods.
  • Proven ability to assess and design Major Incident Response Plans (MIRP/PRIM) aligned with operational SLAs and the organization’s risk tolerance.
  • Experience in business continuity planning, incident response coordination, and process maturity assessments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
  • Previous experience in technical consulting or technology assessment engagements.
