About the role

  • Coordonnateur(trice) de production VFX pour un studio d’effets visuels basé à Montreal. Superviser les projets VFX et gérer les livraisons au sein d’une équipe créative dynamique.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritize and track internal technical tasks and project-related details.
  • Organize dailies, rounds and project meetings; prepare rooms and required media.
  • Ensure daily updates of status, task assignments and project scope in ShotGrid (Flow).
  • Coordinate and prepare shot deliveries, including all submission documentation.
  • Ensure team members clearly understand daily deliverables; manage schedules and record client, dailies and round notes.
  • Communicate team updates and ensure clear understanding of priorities.
  • Coordinate and follow up on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Prepare documentation and reports while tracking and managing tasks.
  • Communicate any schedule changes to relevant stakeholders and escalate issues to supervisors and producers when necessary.
  • Track approved and completed work to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries.
  • Establish and maintain quality control and project closeout processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the visual effects (VFX) industry or film production.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with ShotGrid (Flow), including creating, updating and maintaining projects.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • Demonstrated experience in VFX project management, with excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-changing environment.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with clients, artists and producers.
  • Good understanding of technical workflow challenges: directory structures, file formats, naming conventions, scripts, automation tools, etc.
  • Ability to interpret supervisor and client notes with creativity and accuracy.
  • Solid understanding of VFX production pipelines for television series; feature film experience is an asset.
  • Familiarity with 2D and 3D VFX software is considered an asset.
