Responsibilities
Create and share the product vision and roadmap with managerial guidance
Lead the product through its lifecycle based on customer needs, market problems, and business objectives
Define and lead the vision and execution of BCLC’s retail digital signage and media network
Manage the product roadmap and lifecycle
Optimize digital experiences across the retail network
Identify opportunities to enhance customer, retailer, and business value
Present product vision to stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships
Collect, track, and prioritize lifecycle and product improvements
Determine appropriate product sunsetting, transition to end-of-life, replacement, or discontinuation
Align product delivery with corporate strategy and identify outcome gaps
Report product-team deliverables, progress, and status to managers and stakeholders
Identify risks and opportunities and develop risk-mitigation strategies
Lead and manage vendor relationships where applicable
Define user journeys, product KPIs, and SLAs with stakeholders
Prepare requirements documentation and regulatory-facing documents
Present product ideas and strategies to leadership for feedback and acceptance
Support and guide cross-functional teams and resolve complex delivery challenges
Requirements
A combination of education, experience, and demonstrated skills may be considered
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology Management, or a related discipline
3 to 5 years of relevant experience
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
Understanding of and exposure to vendor management
Knowledge of retail technology, digital signage, and/or digital media networks
Understanding of data analytics, product performance metrics, and KPI development
Advanced technical writing skills, including report and procedure documentation
Advanced strategic thinking and research skills
Ability to identify and mitigate product-development risks
Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to influence without authority
Advanced business acumen, communication, presentation, interpersonal, time-management, organizational, and multitasking skills
Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users
Ability to solve problems, resolve conflicts, and navigate complex organizational challenges
Team leadership and change-management capabilities
Product Management certifications, CSPO, PMI-ACP, B.C. gaming-industry knowledge, and retail media/digital signage experience are preferred or assets
Must be at least 19 years of age
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
