About the role
- IT Solution Architecture Consultant at Beneva designing and implementing technology solutions for insurance and financial services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading projects in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Design solutions (functional and technical requirements, component reuse) as well as the implementation and integration strategy
- Produce estimates and scope for solutions to be developed or for software packages to be implemented or integrated
- Prepare documentation and deliver presentations of different scenarios to be implemented or integrated to meet client or business needs
- Strongly contribute to defining acceptance criteria and guide their implementation in a reliable, repeatable, and sustainable manner
- Lead IT discussions with vendors; monitor product features and provide vendor liaison and guidance
- Provide guidance to IT teams on standards, reference architectures, working methods, and other topics
- Participate in the evolution of your area of expertise by taking part in communities of practice and continuous improvement activities for processes, ways of working, and tools
- Facilitate and participate in meetings required to accomplish your work
- Act as a leader by supporting teams in resolving issues and challenges
- Collaborate actively in implementing the Agile Release Train (ART) with the Project Manager and the Delivery Director
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in solution design or packaged software integration
- Minimum of 3 years of diverse experience in analysis, modeling, development, and software solution integration
- Experience managing projects in an Agile environment and knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and others
- Knowledge of property and casualty (P&C) insurance software and platforms: Guidewire InsuranceSuite; OpenText Exstream; AWS
- Advanced proficiency in French, both spoken and written, and intermediate proficiency in English
