About the role
- Principal SAP Solution Architect at Talan leading the design of SAP architectures and advising clients on cloud adoption strategies. Mentoring architects and ensuring solutions align with business goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead executive-level discussions to define SAP transformation roadmaps, investment priorities, and cloud adoption strategies.
- Develop and articulate NorthStar architecture visions grounded in industry context and business models.
- Own end-to-end SAP architecture design across S/4HANA Cloud Public and Private Editions.
- Advise clients on the appropriate use of SAP Industry Cloud solutions and AI capabilities.
- Mentor junior and mid-level architects by sharing your reasoning and architectural frameworks.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in SAP solution architecture across S/4HANA Cloud Public (GROW with SAP) and Private Edition (RISE with SAP).
- Proven experience designing architectures leveraging SAP BTP, Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Datasphere, and AI capabilities.
- Exposure to CPG, retail, distribution, manufacturing, or asset-intensive industries.
- Strong background in complex environments such as multi-entity organizations.
- Ability to clearly articulate architectural trade-offs to business audiences.
- University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Good oral and written communication skills, in English.
- Good oral and written communication skills in French is considered an asset.
