About the role
- Platform Engineer developing systems that connect cloud platform to the physical world in a tech company. Owning AWS infrastructure and working across AWS and Kubernetes environments.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve AWS infrastructure.
- Maintain Kubernetes platform health.
- Partner with development teams to improve deployment pipelines.
- Build and maintain dashboards, alerts, and telemetry pipelines.
- Support distributed Linux-based hardware deployed in the field.
- Troubleshoot connectivity and network issues.
- Own and improve Terraform and Terraform Cloud codebases.
- Treat the platform as a product and build opinionated workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, site reliability, DevOps, or infrastructure roles working with similar technologies at production scale.
- Strong Linux fundamentals across Ubuntu and Debian environments.
- Proven Kubernetes experience.
- Hands-on Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD experience.
- Observability fluency.
- Solid networking foundation.
- Pragmatic and calm under pressure.
- Strong communicator.
