Responsibilities
Drive front-end and back-end development of Blackpoint Cyber’s cybersecurity products
Deliver business-critical product contributions to the cybersecurity platform
Define and build robust, scalable software and world-class user experiences
Lead and drive projects across TypeScript, Golang, React, and Node.js services hosted on Kubernetes
Leverage AI-assisted development tools for code generation, review, and testing
Apply design and architecture expertise and best-practice design patterns
Optimize performance, scale, and resiliency
Collaborate across diverse, cross-functional groups
Mentor other engineers and lead them through complex projects
Communicate with leadership to define technical solutions, align them with business objectives, and provide progress updates
Requirements
5-8 years of industry experience in full-stack development
Demonstrated expertise delivering scalable, high-performance systems in fast-paced, enterprise-level environments
Strong backend development skills with Node.js and Golang
Experience building and maintaining microservices architectures on Kubernetes
Proficiency in React and TypeScript
Understanding of modern front-end architecture, design patterns, and best practices
Expertise designing and consuming REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs
Ability to architect full-stack solutions and balance performance and scalability from database layer to UI
Strong understanding of database design, performance tuning, and indexing across SQL databases including PostgreSQL and MySQL, and NoSQL databases including MongoDB
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud primitives such as storage, messaging, logging, and networking
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, or similar
Deep understanding of security best practices, including API security, sensitive data handling, authentication, and authorization using OAuth and JWT
Experience working in an Agile environment, including leading sprint planning and breaking down large initiatives
Comfortable adopting AI-assisted development tools
Strong desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment with multiple releases a day
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
