About the role

  • Senior Frontend Developer at Bridgit designing and building applications to help construction teams effectively manage their workforce. Tackling UI challenges and evolving frontend architecture for better workflow.

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Frontend Developer at Bridgit, you'll take ownership of designing, testing, and building frontend experiences that help construction teams plan and manage their workforce more effectively.
  • You'll tackle complex UI challenges - making powerful workflows feel effortless for our users.
  • You'll also play a key role in evolving our frontend architecture, raising the bar on quality, and shaping how we build as a team.
  • We're especially excited about candidates who are already leveraging AI in their development workflow and eager to explore how technologies like LLMs can enhance both our product capabilities and our team's developer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven frontend expertise - You have 5+ years of hands-on experience building high-quality software, with strong command of React and TypeScript (and you're eager to deepen your skills across our stack if needed).
  • UI architecture chops - You're skilled in designing and building performant, maintainable component architectures, and can clearly articulate your design decisions around state management, rendering strategies, and code organization.
  • Thrives in complexity - You've built rich, interactive interfaces - think scheduling views, data-dense tables, drag-and-drop interactions, or real-time dashboards - and you know how to make complex workflows feel simple and intuitive for users.
  • Comfortable across the stack - You have solid experience integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs, understand how frontend and backend systems work together, and can collaborate effectively with backend engineers to shape contracts and data flows.
  • Product-driven and cross-functional - You thrive in collaborative, product-oriented environments working alongside product managers, designers, and other engineers. You're excited to build and ship real SaaS products used by real customers, and you've actually deployed and maintained services in production.
  • AI-forward thinking - You have hands-on experience with AI and LLMs (even if exploratory) and regularly use AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or similar. You're excited about the transformative potential of AI in software development.
  • Curious and growth-minded - You stay current with the latest technologies and development practices, share knowledge generously, and believe in growing stronger as a team.
