About the role

  • Google Cloud Solutions Architect seeking bilingual (French/English) with expertise in cloud migrations. Join Capgemini to support clients across Quebec with cloud strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead bilingual (French/English) client discussions, workshops, assessments and solution presentations
  • Develop cloud strategies, migration roadmaps and ensure alignment with Quebec regulatory compliance
  • Support RFI/RFP responses, solution design and proposal development
  • Architect secure, scalable GCP solutions across compute, storage, networking, IAM, security, GKE, Cloud Run and data services
  • Design applications, microservices and Cloud Native modernization patterns
  • Build landing zones, VPCs, IAM frameworks and IaC automation (Terraform)
  • Guide engineering teams and ensure adherence to delivery frameworks
  • Lead migrations from on-premises environments or other clouds to GCP
  • Oversee execution teams to ensure performance, compliance and stability
  • Produce bilingual documentation, architecture artifacts and handover documents
  • Advise executives, architects and technical teams based in Quebec
  • Influence cloud strategy and strengthen the GCP partnership
  • Mentor teams in French and English and support the growth of regional practices

Requirements

  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Experience working with Quebec clients and understanding of regional compliance requirements
  • 8+ years in cloud engineering/architecture; 3+ years hands-on experience with GCP
  • Strong experience in cloud architecture and modernization
  • Proven leadership in migrating from on-premises or other clouds to GCP
  • Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code
  • Strong pre-sales and stakeholder engagement skills
