Reporting Analyst ensuring high data quality, supporting operational reporting needs at Alberta Blue Cross®. Collaborating on various data and analytics initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities
Collect, extract, and transform operational data from internal systems to produce accurate and timely reports in collaboration with stakeholders.
Use your expertise in data querying, analytics, and visualization to support the development and enhancement of data pipelines, dashboards, and analytical models.
Support the maintenance, enhancement, and documentation of existing reporting processes and structures.
Participate in corporate projects, departmental initiatives, and cross functional working groups.
Contribute to team data initiatives, including automation, workflow improvements, and operational efficiencies.
Adhere to standards of quality, privacy, branding, tooling, methodology, pricing, invoicing, and turnaround times.
Collaborate with Enterprise IT and analytics teams to build, enhance, and maintain data pipelines and reporting assets.
Analyze and interpret data trends, clearly communicating findings, insights, and variances to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
A post-secondary degree, diploma or prior experience would be an asset.
Expertise with SQL, including complex query design and performance tuning is required.
Familiarity with Oracle SQL Developer is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in RStudio or Python for data analysis and automation is required.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization/dashboarding tools is an asset.
Experience in analytics or reporting focused role is an asset.
Previous concrete experience with understanding and troubleshooting end-to-end dataflows in an enterprise organization is a strongly preferred asset.
Strong foundation in statistics, analytics, data management, and reporting methodologies.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver timely results.
