About the role

  • Clinical Team Leader overseeing mobile, walk-in, and stabilization crisis services for Manitoba’s Shared Health. Providing clinical leadership, supervision, interventions, training, and program development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Mobile Crisis Service, Walk-In Crisis Services, and Crisis Stabilization Unit
  • Provide clinical leadership and coordination
  • Deliver clinical therapeutic interventions
  • Provide clinical supervision and collaboration
  • Participate in clinical on-call duties
  • Manage information and support research
  • Contribute to program development and practice standards
  • Provide education and training
  • Work under the general supervision of the Manager, Crisis Response Services, Adult Mental Health
  • Collaborate across health, social service, and community sectors to support recovery and mental health well-being

Requirements

  • 4–5 years of clinical experience in mental health, including crisis response services
  • 3 years’ experience supervising and managing in a unionized, interdisciplinary team environment
  • Experience developing and delivering education and training sessions
  • Experience working with multi-sectoral partnerships and facilitating, collaborating, and resolving conflict
  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant health discipline from an accredited institution (BSW, BScPN, BN, RN, RPN, OT, or related health degree)
  • Eligibility for registration in area of professional practice
  • Ability to physically access and work in varied community environments
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Winnipeg Health Region/Shared Health Mental Health Crisis Response System
  • Advanced expertise in crisis intervention, suicide intervention, and mental health assessment processes
  • Knowledge and experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
  • Working knowledge of healthcare legislation, including the Manitoba Mental Health Act
  • Preference for bilingual French/English candidates
