Responsibilities
Design and/or modify reusable components for CBC/Radio‑Canada’s digital platforms, such as the audio/video player.
Ensure compliance with standards and maintain product quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Keep up to date with new trends in digital development.
Proactively propose solutions to challenges encountered.
Participate in Agile Scrum activities to review ongoing production work for necessary corrections and adjustments, and to evaluate completed projects.
Contribute to the creation and refinement of user stories for our products.
Ensure developed applications perform well under high load.
Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and application deployments.
Take part in code reviews and solution deployments.
Requirements
University degree or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of software development experience.
Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
Strong understanding of REST API principles.
Experience with Git.
Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
Knowledge of Redis is an asset.
Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript is an asset.
Knowledge of Azure Data Lake is an asset.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud is an asset.
Knowledge of web audio/video broadcasting (streaming) is an asset.
Familiarity with other programming languages is an asset.
Knowledge of design patterns is an asset.
