About the role
- Team Lead overseeing Closed Captioning operations for CBC/Radio-Canada. Planning and coordinating team activities to meet business objectives in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan, assign, and review the team’s work
- Coordinate day-to-day operations for regular production and special projects within the closed captioning (CC) team
- Support the CC team supervisor in achieving our partners’ business objectives
- Organize work schedules to ensure continuous seven-day coverage across rotating shifts
- Review and approve timesheets, expense claims, and petty cash vouchers
- Interpret standards, policies, and procedures
- Develop team members’ professional skills and operational knowledge
- Recommend process improvements to increase departmental efficiency
- Perform other duties related to the position
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Three years of relevant experience
- Strong command of French (working language)
- Excellent computer skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Knowledge of the other official language (English or French)
- Broad general knowledge
- Awareness of current events
