About the role
- Mobile financial services representative selling chequing and savings accounts to Costco members for CIBC. Delivering client service, referrals, transactions, and digital banking support across BC kiosks.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact at a CIBC Kiosk in Costco Warehouses
- Proactively engage Costco members to understand their financial needs and identify opportunities
- Complete sales of chequing and savings accounts
- Provide high-level information on mortgages, Investor’s Edge, and registered products within the agreed Costco product mix
- Refer clients to the appropriate Banking Centre for non-deposit account advice and servicing
- Deliver consistent client service excellence and strong sales results to meet performance targets
- Track, record, and update sales activities accurately in designated tools and systems
- Process valid transactions, complete documentation on time, and obtain required authorizations
- Maintain client confidentiality and comply with established policies and procedures
- Open or close the kiosk as required
- Promote digital banking options, including mobile and online banking
- Explain digital banking benefits and assist clients with using digital options
- Understand client needs and make viable introductions to banking-centre colleagues
Requirements
- Experience in a fast-paced sales and service environment, preferably in the financial and client service industry
- Well-developed interpersonal and conversation skills
- Ability to proactively engage clients in a Costco Warehouse
- Entrepreneurial nature and comfort working in a self-managed environment
- Goal-oriented approach and ability to meet performance targets
- Digital savvy and ability to adapt to new tools and technologies
- Ability to work rotational shifts Monday to Sunday between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM
- Availability to work weekends and some statutory holidays
- Ability to commute between nearby Costco Warehouses
- Legally eligible to work at the specified locations
- Valid work or study permit where applicable
