About the role
- Product Validation Engineer at Dana TM4 focusing on electric vehicle propulsion technologies. Coordinating product validation and developing testing strategies within dynamic teams in Quebec.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate, monitor and report on product validation progress according to customer timelines
- Participate in defining product test strategies
- Contribute to impact and product-heritage (legacy) analysis when implementing changes
- Support the laboratory planner to maximize lab efficiency
- Ensure delivery of inputs required for validation
- Maintain and update the DVP&R (Design Validation Plan & Reports)
- Participate in improving laboratory processes and performance tools
- Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and/or electronic engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Strong leadership skills
- High level of rigor with the ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to thoroughly document your work
- Experience in project management
- Experience in product validation (asset)
- Familiarity with the V-model validation process (asset)
- Knowledge of a programming language (asset)
- Membership in the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) (asset)
- Curiosity and ability to work autonomously
- Bilingual: French and English
