About the role

  • Product Validation Engineer at Dana TM4 focusing on electric vehicle propulsion technologies. Coordinating product validation and developing testing strategies within dynamic teams in Quebec.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, monitor and report on product validation progress according to customer timelines
  • Participate in defining product test strategies
  • Contribute to impact and product-heritage (legacy) analysis when implementing changes
  • Support the laboratory planner to maximize lab efficiency
  • Ensure delivery of inputs required for validation
  • Maintain and update the DVP&R (Design Validation Plan & Reports)
  • Participate in improving laboratory processes and performance tools
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical and/or electronic engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • High level of rigor with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to thoroughly document your work
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in product validation (asset)
  • Familiarity with the V-model validation process (asset)
  • Knowledge of a programming language (asset)
  • Membership in the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec) (asset)
  • Curiosity and ability to work autonomously
  • Bilingual: French and English
