About the role

  • Intern analyzing mechanical systems at Dana TM4, contributing to electric vehicle propulsion technologies and innovations in engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and document mechanical analyses (structural, vibration and thermal)
  • Interpret and synthesize mechanical test results
  • Collaborate closely with team members to resolve technical challenges
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities and technical discussions
  • Perform other related tasks as required by the internship

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering program
  • Basic knowledge of structural, vibration and/or thermal/CFD analysis (FEA is an asset)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems
  • Curious, creative and eager to learn
  • Proactive, able to work independently and resourceful
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Asset: Good knowledge of mechanics of materials, vibration or thermal/CFD
  • Asset: Good understanding of electric motor operation
  • Asset: Programming knowledge (Python)
  • Functional proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)
