About the role
- Intern analyzing mechanical systems at Dana TM4, contributing to electric vehicle propulsion technologies and innovations in engineering.
Responsibilities
- Perform and document mechanical analyses (structural, vibration and thermal)
- Interpret and synthesize mechanical test results
- Collaborate closely with team members to resolve technical challenges
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities and technical discussions
- Perform other related tasks as required by the internship
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a mechanical engineering program
- Basic knowledge of structural, vibration and/or thermal/CFD analysis (FEA is an asset)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve technical problems
- Curious, creative and eager to learn
- Proactive, able to work independently and resourceful
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Asset: Good knowledge of mechanics of materials, vibration or thermal/CFD
- Asset: Good understanding of electric motor operation
- Asset: Programming knowledge (Python)
- Functional proficiency in French and English (spoken and written)
