About the role
- Programmer analyst developing, maintaining, and supporting Desjardins software, systems, and infrastructure. Collaborating with business partners and architects on standardized IT solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, configure, develop, maintain and upgrade software products
- Develop, standardize and roll out medium- to large-scale IT systems, programs and applications
- Analyze client and partner requirements and influence decisions on appropriate IT solutions
- Plan, prioritize and coordinate work to stay on schedule and meet objectives
- Develop execution strategies and analyze and develop software products, including design, coding and automated run tests
- Apply development, data and security best practices
- Document technical solutions and practices, including training documentation for peers and users
- Provide technical support for IT operations and resolve critical and complex system issues
- Collaborate with business partners and architects to understand objectives and standardize solutions
- Serve as a systems go-to person for the team, clients and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
- Available 24/7 as an on-call advisor
