About the role
- Integrations Developer building custom API integrations for MaintainX, a mobile-first industrial work-execution platform. Partnering with consultants, clients, Engineering, and Product on reliable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Integration Consultants to understand client requirements and business processes
- Design, develop, and implement custom integrations using Open REST APIs, connectors, and data transformation techniques
- Advise Integration Consultants and clients on effective use of Open REST APIs
- Work with MaintainX Engineering and Product teams to prioritize customer integration requirements
- Ensure reliability, security, and performance through testing and quality assurance
- Debug and troubleshoot integration issues
- Provide ongoing support for client projects
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Communicate project status to internal teams and clients
- Contribute to project planning, scoping, and timeline management
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development, solutions architecture, software engineering, or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Proficiency in JavaScript, APIs, middleware platforms, and data transformation
- Knowledge of TypeScript, NodeJS, React, React Native, and MySQL
- Ability to organize and consolidate customer data from various formats and source applications
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Detail- and process-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage projects across internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with ERPs such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics AX, or Sage Intacct is a bonus
- Experience in manufacturing or knowledge of IoT sensors, historians, SCADA, PLCs, and Industry 4.0 technologies is a bonus
- Familiarity with Workato, Tray.io, or Zapier is a bonus
