About the role
- Securities Advisor helping Desjardins members and clients with investment products and personalized solutions. Building relationships, analyzing needs, and supporting mutual fund and securities sales.
Responsibilities
- Serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients
- Sell securities products and services through various distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices
- Focus on discretionary management, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and structured products
- Handle special information requests from clients and promote and sell specialized products and services in accordance with business objectives and strategies
- Ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with organizational standards and procedures
- Analyze member/client needs, develop and implement personalized solutions, and propose integrated service offers
- Support current and potential members and clients, represent the organization, and help negotiate agreements with clients
- Establish advisory relationships by identifying current and potential needs and supporting client retention
- Advise members and clients on specialized products, services and solutions and ensure member/client satisfaction
- Analyze and meet special client needs, handle requests and follow up as needed
- Collect, compile and analyze data; prepare reports and recommendations
- Stay on top of the latest standards, products and services in the field
Requirements
- General college diploma in a related field
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
