Responsibilities
- Process life and health insurance claims
- Promote occupational health and manage disabilities
- Serve as technical expert and provide discipline-specific support for unit activities, initiatives and processes
- Research and analyze processes, information management and data processing
- Solve technically complex problems and recommend changes to methods and procedures
- Provide technical support for projects and complex operational issues
- Carry out specialized technical studies, research and analysis
- Serve as a resource person for solutions and action plans, including diagnosis, intervention, treatment, return-to-work and disability monitoring plans
- Roll out and maintain software and manual and automated processes
- Train users
- Prepare technical notes to enhance users' and teams' skills and knowledge
- Help practitioners follow unit standards and processes and use business solutions, tools and systems
Requirements
- General college diploma in a related field
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
- Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
