About the role
- Claims Advisor managing high-complexity property insurance claims and assisting clients at Desjardins. Utilizing analytical skills to negotiate claims settlements and maintain business relationships.
Responsibilities
- Help serve and maintain business relationships with members and clients for all claims
- Handle high-complexity property insurance claims and medium-complexity accident benefit and bodily injury claims
- Investigate and approve claims
- Solve problems using analytical skills and extensive discipline-specific knowledge
- Develop solutions, negotiate claims settlements, and enter into agreements with members, clients, third parties and others
- Advise and assist clients and represent Desjardins to enter into important agreements with clients
Requirements
- College diploma in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of French is required
