About the role

  • Senior Product Manager overseeing the Insights Product Line at Energy Exemplar. Driving product strategy and team leadership for energy solutions across global markets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of product managers and related staff ensuring development, mentoring and coaching of team members.
  • Encourage a culture of customer focused collaboration and innovation.
  • Develop and articulate a clear vision and strategic plan for the Insights products.
  • Clearly define measurable goals for the products and measure performance against those goals.
  • Manage Development Backlog
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap defined by market demand, company strategy and competitor analysis.
  • Communicate that roadmap both internally and externally.
  • Monitor and analyze customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Use industry trends and customer feedback to inform product strategy.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to define go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborate with customer success to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and measure product and feature adoption including onboarding, time to value, and NPS.
  • Drive growth and revenue generation strategies and work closely with sales to execute.
  • Monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • 10 years in the energy industry
  • 5 years in a leadership role
  • 5 years of product management
  • High level of numeracy, computer and web literacy
  • High level of experience with use of PowerPoint, Excel & Word
  • Experience with power systems software or software as a service/solution
  • Knowledge of technical software for data analysis, consulting and project experience
  • Energy industry product management
  • Extensive experience with power and natural gas markets in North America, Europe, and Asia
  • Strong interpersonal presence and skills - demonstrated ability to build rapport
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and presentation tools such as MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a focus on quality
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Sense of urgency for goal achievement
  • Strong desire for personal and career advancement
  • Strong product management skills including discovery/research and adoption analysis.
