About the role

Requirements

  • BSC or MSc in fisheries biology, aquatic ecology, or a related field.
  • Recognized certifications including MTO/DFO/MECP fisheries protocol training.
  • 8 to 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including 5+ years managing fisheries and aquatic projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Ontario and federal regulatory frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience securing permits/authorizations and supporting Environmental Assessments.
  • Deep understanding of freshwater fish communities and aquatic habitats in Ontario.
