About the role

Business Analyst Intern supporting PC Bank and PC Insurance accounting, reporting, and marketing initiatives. Coordinating reconciliations, payments, competitive intelligence, dashboards, and CRM projects.

Responsibilities

Support accounting processes for PC Bank and PC Insurance payroll, expense reports, and intercompany transactions
Support month-end processes for PC Insurance entities
Book journal entries
Perform monthly reconciliations
Process payroll vendor payments accurately and on time
Coordinate with Payroll, Treasury, other finance teams, and vendors
Conduct competitive intelligence, including market scans, competitor tracking, and synthesis of insights
Support Joint Steering Committee and governance action management
Manage invoices through coordination, tracking, reconciliation support, and escalation
Support dashboards and recurring performance reporting
Support strategic projects and research initiatives
Provide marketing support for enterprise assets, CRM roadmap QA, paid media, retail execution, and CRM campaigns
Apply Meta tagging practices to support SEO across digital properties

Enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration, Marketing, or another relevant stream
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis
Foundational knowledge of Tableau is an asset
Business casing and ability to conduct data analysis or interpret data is an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Effective problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to participate in meetings, ask questions, and use critical thinking
Self-motivated team player with an eagerness to learn and take initiative
Previous internship or co-op experience is an asset
Must successfully complete a criminal background check and credit check
