About the role

  • EventMobi event technology success manager guiding Canadian corporations and associations through onboarding, event execution, and customer retention.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted partner and strategic advisor to professional event planners and marketers at large corporations and associations
  • Help customers implement event technology and execute successful events
  • Lead customer onboarding, strategy sessions, and relationship-building
  • Drive adoption and value generation from EventMobi products
  • Guide customers through technical product training and hands-on enablement
  • Manage full-service event contracts end-to-end across multiple concurrent events
  • Lead project management across planning, build, live execution, and post-event follow-up
  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Product, AV, and Sales teams
  • Coordinate requirements, resolve issues, and deliver seamless event experiences
  • Monitor customer health and success metrics
  • Identify risks and drive adoption, retention, and long-term success
  • Conduct customer touchpoints, strategy sessions, and quarterly reviews
  • Maintain account, project, and communication records in HubSpot and internal tools
  • Support live events as needed, including occasional evenings, weekends, or travel for on-site or hybrid event support
  • Share customer feedback and improvement ideas with internal teams

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience planning or coordinating professional B2B events: conferences, trade shows, corporate meetings, or association events
  • Experience with event technology — registration platforms, event apps, or virtual event platforms — is required
  • Familiarity with tools such as Cvent, Eventbrite, Bizzabo, Hopin, or similar is required
  • Genuine interest in technology and its impact on the events industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical event organizers
  • Top-notch organizational skills, including managing multiple projects, thorough documentation, and consistent follow-through
  • Empathetic, problem-solving mindset
  • Safe, comfortable, and ergonomic workspace
  • Private and quiet workspace
  • Reliable internet connection capable of participating in video calls, with at least 30Mbps download speed
  • 2-year college diploma or 4-year degree in hospitality or events management (nice to have)
  • Experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or other CRMs (nice to have)
  • Previous experience supporting customer onboarding for technical products or SaaS platforms (nice to have)
