About the role

  • Director of Strategy leading digital transformation, marketing, and content strategy for clients of a dynamic web agency. Guiding strategy teams and cross-functional digital projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the strategy team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients and provide insights for digital and marketing initiatives
  • Guide clients through digital transformation and adoption of web technology, accessibility, and user-experience best practices
  • Craft and implement digital strategies aligned with client objectives and user needs using UX research, analytics, and content strategy
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, cost-effective, and achievable within project budgets
  • Conduct market research on trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes
  • Collaborate with design, development, and project management teams throughout project lifecycles
  • Define key success metrics

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years in digital strategy, UX, or product strategy, preferably in a web development or digital agency
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of mentoring and growing high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing marketing and content strategies across various channels and platforms
  • Strong ability to understand client goals and constraints, analyze data, interpret insights, and translate them into actionable strategies
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English; English is required for regular collaboration with clients and team members outside Quebec
  • Knowledge of Drupal and WordPress
  • Experience working with institutional clients
